Overview
Challenge
In the lives of families touched by congenital heart disease (CHD), a source of comfort and support can make a meaningful difference.
As families navigate the challenges of managing this diagnosis and supporting their loved ones, we found that they needed a streamlined way to connect with their CHD community and register for an IHH membership & community events.
How can we create a centralized platform that allows users to register seamlessly, eliminating the need to visit multiple sites?

Research
User research is the process of understanding users' behaviors, needs, and motivations through various methods like interviews, surveys, and usability tests. These methods provide valuable insights into user preferences, guiding informed decisions to enhance a product's usability and appeal.
With this in mind, we hypothesized that redesigning the Intermountain Healing Hearts website to improve the user interface for membership and event registration would streamline the sign-up process. A centralized page for information and access to the sign-up form was expected to result in increased website traffic, sign-ups, and donations.
To gather insights, we conducted usability tests, A/B testing, surveys, and interviews.
